I liked the idea of c12 reds, having 9 trials for a red each, but god I hated that star. The thick crossovers were just annoying over time. The thick arch was also annoying, having to grind of the perfect height firsty and then getting out of the arch. The ToF wallkicks felt a bit weird, since sometimes you made it without firsties and sometimes you were too low even with firsties, but I didn't mind them too much. Thins was well thins. Next was offset wallkicks and the reason why I hated the star so much. In the end I found a decent strat, but I just kept dying to them in attempts. What really made me hate this star were the 2 chokes past offset wallkicks. I was scared to get bad vsc rng, so I messed around with it a lot in practice, but somehow always got high enough, so I thought shin3 found a way to make big vsc jumps really consistent. Well that was the case until I lost an attempt to bad vsc rng. And since there is no heart you pretty much only have 1 chance to get the vsc jump.Â
If I had less hp I would've died at the end of this attempt. I didn't know you can take fall damage there and since the hud is hardly visable I didn't pay attention to my hp at all. That really was a shock moment. ~katze789
