"Overworld 4 is quite the step-up in difficulty damn.
This level was really hard to get used to at first, I legit had zero idea how first 2 intro wk sections worked. Fortunately Shin3 was there to guide me through most of the level.
So to start of positive, I quite like the vibe of this stage tbh, it's dark but the textures themselves are bright enough that it doesn't make it a annoyance vision wise. Gameplay wise it got some pretty cool stuff, I especially like the S5 path and S5 area. However there is also quite a bit of jank, S1 for example felt very akward with having a slight angle for the long wk section. Not to mention getting up the platform before deathplane section felt weirdly tight, that compared with no corner physics and the slight angle made me just grind for a firsty tbh.
S3/8 intro also has a part where I grind for 2 firsties even, again it just felt too tight without. Speaking of S8 was brutal, I could absolutely not get even remotely close to consistent at the gwk. It definitely is a bit of a knowlegde issue, but yeah it was basically just a matter of spamming attempts which isn't too bad considering it's only a bit over a minute 1. I still enjoyed the star tbh as again it was so early in and I also didn't have any nerves or something prior to getting past gwk so deaths don't really hurt. I can definitely understand if people get tilted on this tho.
Don't really have complains about other stars, mostly fun. There are some collision issues on S4/5 path tho. For example 18:00 this first wk has some parts you can't wk off, from looking at hacktice you should aim to the right and don't be too low. 18:08 you can't wk on right side at all so stay on the left half. Lastly 18:33 go for this red, not to bad just immediately lj and just holding forward should work. Getting on first slope intended has a massive invis that's just almost impossible to avoid.
Reds here look brutal, I estimate them to be like a high T7 so far."
