Privacy Policy

Kairy Lab ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Android application "AlarmNext" (the "App"; package name: com.kairylab.android.alarmnext). This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how user information is handled in connection with the App.

By installing and using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

1-1. Information you set within the App (on-device data)

To provide its alarm features, the App collects and uses the following information that you configure:

- Alarm times

- Days of the week and repeat settings

- Alarm labels (names)

- Alarm sound selection and volume settings

- Other settings (such as enabling/disabling recommended settings)

This information is stored solely on your device and is never transmitted to or collected by us or any third party. We are unable to view or obtain this information.

1-2. Information collected in connection with advertising

To keep the App free, the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners (listed below). These advertising providers may collect the following types of information to display, optimize, and measure the performance of ads:

- Advertising identifier (Advertising ID / AD_ID)

- IP address and device information such as device type and OS version

- Information about ad impressions and interactions

- Approximate location (based on IP address, etc.)

This information is collected, used, and retained by each advertising provider in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not directly collect or store this information.

2. Sharing Information with Third Parties (Advertising Providers)

The App uses the following advertising services and mediation partners. Please review each provider's privacy policy for details on how it handles information:

Other than the above, we do not sell or provide your information to any third party, except where legally required, such as in response to a lawful disclosure request.

3. Ad Personalization and Consent (GDPR / Consent Management)

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent regarding the use of data for advertising purposes from users in applicable regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA).

You can make and change your choices regarding personalized advertising through the consent form shown on first launch, or through the settings of each advertising provider or your device.

You can reset your device's advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads from your device's Settings > Google > Ads (the name may vary by device).

4. Data Retention (Data Retention Policy)

Data stored on your device (alarm settings, etc.)

The alarm information and settings you configure are retained solely on your device until you delete them within the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. We do not retain or back up this data on any server.

Information collected in connection with advertising

The retention period for information collected by advertising providers is governed by each provider's privacy policy. We do not retain this information.

Because we do not collect or store users' personal information on any server, we do not retain any user data on our side.

5. Data Deletion (How to Request Deletion)

Because we do not collect or store user data on any server, deletion is completed entirely through operations on your own device. The specific methods are as follows:

1. Delete individual alarms/settings

From the list screen in the App, delete a target alarm to remove its setting data from your device.

2. Delete all of the App's data

Go to your device's Settings > Apps > AlarmNext > Storage > Clear data to delete all data the App has stored on your device.

3. Uninstall the App

Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all alarm settings and related data stored on your device.

4. Delete or reset advertising-related data

For deletion of information held by advertising providers, please refer to each provider's privacy policy listed in Section 2. You can reset your device's advertising identifier from your device's Settings > Google > Ads.

If you have any questions about deleting data using the methods above, or if you wish to contact us regarding data deletion, please reach out using the contact information in Section 8. We will respond in good faith, including by confirming that we do not hold any data about you.

6. Permissions Used

The App uses permissions such as notifications, exact alarms, network access, and reading media (alarm sounds) for the purposes of providing alarm functionality and displaying advertisements. These permissions are used only to provide the App's features and are not used to collect personally identifying information.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not primarily directed at children under the age of 13 (or under the age specified by applicable laws in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy
