Hi! My name is Kaif Hilman and I am a postdoc at the University of Bonn Topology Group beginning September 2025. My main research interests are in equivariant stable homotopy theory, algebraic/hermitian K-theory, Poincare cobordisms, and Goodwillie calculus.
Previously, I was a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Bonn from November 2022 until August 2025. Before that, I was a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, under the supervision of Jesper Grodal and Markus Land. I was an undergraduate and master's student at the University of Cambridge. And before even that, I was in Malaysia.
CV available upon request.
Also, my full name is Kaif Hilman bin Muhammad Borhan Tan, and so I might occasionally be referred to as Kaif Tan or Kaif Muhammad Borhan Tan in other contexts.
