Kaczara Farm Golden Retrievers
Choosing a reputable breeder is very important. Since it would be almost
impossible for you to know what the puppy you are buying will grow up to be
physically and emotionally, you must rely on your faith in the person from whom you are purchasing your puppy. I believe purchasing a puppy is a very intimate and personal decision as well as making an important investment; investing in a lifelong companion who will be a new addition of your family for years to come I have had Goldens for over 12 years now, and I also raised AKC Springer Spaniels
for 20 years, with repeat customers. I even had a veterinarian sending referrals,
as he liked my dogs so much. I stand behind my dogs. I think their temperament
is very important. I also have raised horses, goats, rabbits and chickens from
babies, so lots of experiences.
My Goldens are loved and respected members of my family, with each puppy
bred being nurtured, cared for and loved. I take pride in my dogs and their
offspring, so I strive to make sure that each puppy goes to a responsible and
loving home. During the purchasing process of your puppy, I will be establishing
a relationship with the perspective families, that will help determine which puppy will
be a good match for you and your family. However, the picking order is based on the deposit order. First deposit is first pick.
I suggest reserving your puppy early as the pups are often spoken for before
they are ready for sale. Deposits are Non – refundable, however transferable
to other litters provided there is a puppy available. The acceptance of deposits
in advance is a courtesy provided to families wanting to reserve a puppy in
advance. I cannot allow you to visit the pups until they are ready to leave and
have time after their first vaccination. I occasionally allow you to visit and see them "over the fence" so you can see how healthy they are.
But must limit touching and shoes not in direct contact with their pen, ground, and face as it can spread germs or disease before they have antibodies.
When the puppies are six-seven weeks of age they will receive their first set of
vaccinations. They have been de-wormed at 3, 5 and 7 weeks (prior to leaving).
Also the first heart-guard will have been given if appropriate. You will choose your puppy based on pick order ( deposit order) on the pick up day only. Leave that day clear! usually a Saturday to accommodate those working.
please do not visit another kennel prior to coming here (clean shoes and
hands). Be prepared for accidents on occasion and a few chewed up things in
that first year. You are getting a toddler, not a baby! But I have found goldens
rarely have an “accident” they mature quickly in that respect.
Puppies are generally ready to join their new families at seven to eight
weeks of age. My puppies are fed Costco Puppy formula which is a grain free chicken and vegetable base; similar to Pro-Plan. I do not board dogs as limited area and
Beau , Maehlie and Gypsy are house pets.
Each puppy is sold with AKC registration “application”, a “limited”
application. I will on occasion, sell a puppy with full registration (breeding
rights) if the person has experience and I feel they are capable. That will be more.
Checks for deposit or online Zelle or direct pay works, but payment by cash only, upon pup leaving.
***You must arrive on the chosen day for choosing or pickup. If you do not, then you loose your place (pick order)for a choice.
Puppies are up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, de-wormings,
and heart guard (If summer and they have been outside for a month) prior to
joining their new families. Puppy health records are provided with each puppy and parents’ health
clearances and pedigree. A feeding guide of the puppy’s diet: how much
to feed (about 3 cups ( total) a day to start)and when to switch to adult food is included. General health
information as to the date puppy was de-wormed, when he/she received vaccinations and
sample food for the next week.
***Puppies should be taken to a veterinarian of your choice within the
first week, for guarantee and 9 week vaccinations.. Plan your appointment in advance. Each puppy is
guaranteed to be free from congenital defects and life threatening disease making
him/her unsuitable as a pet for 1 year,
NO neutering or spaying for 2 years (Studies proven to help fight hip dysplasia and cancer in goldens! All large breed dogs should not be neutered before 2 yrs) Do not played aggressively with the dog, or tie up using a chain in yard where children can antagonize it. (Do not leave a dog chained-tied in a yard un – watched, especially a suburb.)
I reserve the right to cancel and/or refund a deposit at my discretion. I
know you will love your new puppy and hope you will have many years of
joy with your new family pet!
