K-Reader: Document Reader ("the Application") is a mobile application designed to help users view, create, merge, and manage PDF documents, as well as read Microsoft Office document formats.
We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and how it is protected when you use our application.
K-Reader does not sell or share users' personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

The Application requests permission to access files stored on your device solely to provide its core functionality.

Scan and list PDF files
Open PDF documents

Allow users to select and open their own documents
Your files are processed locally on your device.
The Application does not upload your documents to our servers.
The Application requests access to your photo gallery exclusively for the following purpose:
Creating PDF documents from images selected by the user.
Only the images that you explicitly choose are accessed.
The Application does not scan, collect, or upload your entire photo library.

All document processing is performed locally on your device whenever possible.
Your documents are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
The Application uses the following Google services:
Google Firebase Authentication
Google Firebase Crashlytics
Google Firebase Performance Monitoring
Google Firebase Test Lab (used only during application testing)
Google Play Closed Beta Testing (used only for beta releases)
These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Documents created or managed by the Application remain stored on your device.
We do not maintain servers that store users' documents.
Technical and diagnostic data processed by Firebase services may be retained according to Google's data retention policies.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
