In September of 2017, BTS was asked to participate in the LINE Friends' Creators campaign, allowing members to design and develop their unique avatars known as BTS Suga plush.

The guys spent a day at a business lab basic sketching avatar idea, which the developers then refined into more complex characters. Consequently, resulting in eight avatars, each of whom represented a different member of BTS.
