The belief that all students can learn and find happy, healthy successful lives is important to the role of a school counselor. It is my belief in every interaction with students that each can achieve great things, I have to believe them so much that they find the belief in themselves to take risks, accept failure and keep trying. Holding students to high expectations and helping students to work towards goals leads to student success. Positive relationships with trusting adults is essential to this dynamic.
