The manage component will support my implementation of the ASCA National Model by providing the direction a school counseling program needs in order to be successful. The management of a school counseling program requires aspects that ensure the delivery of a comprehensive school counseling program. With in the manage component the vision, mission, beliefs are then supported with data that leads to the planning for areas within the school counseling program that are essential to serving all students needs. Data-Driven Decisions
Data-driven decisions are essential to the school counseling program in order to maintain the direction of the program with the focus on student success. This assignment looks at using normed, valid and reliable tests to guide decision-making.
Lesson Plans
A school counseling program needs guided lesson plans that are directed at the needs for student success. This lesson is focused on helping students recognize the power within interpersonal relationships and the impact on peer pressure.
