My primary research focuses on policy-relevant topics, particularly the impacts of climate change and the optimal mitigation and adaptation strategy at both global and local levels. In my work, I utilize various tools, including econometric models, simulation models, and geospatial analytic methods. From 2023 to 2027, I am leading an approximately $2 million R&D project funded by the Ministry of Environment of Korea. This project is aimed at estimating the Social Cost of Carbon in Korea.
If you have ideas or are interested in collaborative research, please feel free to reach out. I am always open to exploring new perspectives and opportunities. You can contact me at jonghyun.yoo@snu.ac.kr
