If you want a secure, sport-focused fit with customizable sound modes and open-ear awareness for long TV sessions, choose JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB; if you need massive battery endurance with an LED display and team-specific styling for game day marathons, choose SOAR NFL True.
• JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB: Strengths include a secure hook design, three distinct sound modes (normal, bass, clear), and open-type pieces that let you hear surroundings while watching TV; trade-off is the lack of noise cancellation and shorter individual charge time compared to its case total.
• SOAR NFL True: Strengths feature an impressive 61-hour total battery life with a convenient LED display on the case and officially licensed team branding; trade-off is the absence of specialized sound tuning modes and a standard in-ear fit that may not stay as locked-in during active movement.
• Who it's for: The JVC is ideal for fitness enthusiasts who also want to watch sports or movies without isolating themselves completely, while the SOAR is perfect for die-hard fans who prioritize battery life and team pride above all else.
The JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB is engineered for people who need their audio gear to work hard but also need to remain aware of their environment. The design centers around a secure hook made from soft material that combines with a lightweight build to ensure stability. This makes it an excellent candidate for the best clip on earbuds for tv watching scenarios where you might be moving around the living room or doing light stretches while your favorite show plays. Unlike sealed earbuds that block out the world, this model includes an "open type piece" designed specifically to let surrounding sounds in. You can keep the volume up for dialogue clarity while still hearing the doorbell or someone calling your name across the room.
Sound customization is another major draw here. The inclusion of three specific sound modes—normal, bass, and clear—gives you direct control over how media sounds without needing external equalizer apps. If you are listening to action movies, switching to the bass mode can add weight to explosions, while the clear mode ensures crisp vocals during dramatic scenes. This flexibility is rare in entry-level true wireless options. The touch sensor controls are positioned to avoid burdening the ears, which is crucial for long viewing sessions where physical irritation can become a distraction.

However, this product isn't for everyone. While the case provides up to 30 hours of total battery life, the individual earbud charge time is listed differently in some contexts, meaning you will need to use the case more frequently than the SOAR model for extended binge-watching. Also, since there is no active noise control, you must be comfortable with ambient noise filtering through the open design. If you sit in a very noisy household or near a busy street, you might find the open fit lets in too much chatter. But for those who value comfort, security, and the ability to hear their surroundings while enjoying extra bass open ear earbuds for tv watching, the JVC offers a unique balance of performance and safety.
The SOAR NFL True Wireless Earbuds v.7 are built for the dedicated sports fan who treats game day like an event rather than just a casual activity. The standout feature here is the sheer longevity of the power system. With a total battery life reaching up to 61 hours thanks to the charging case, these earbuds eliminate the anxiety of running out of juice mid-game. The case itself features an LED screen that displays the remaining battery life, so you always know exactly when it is time to recharge before heading out to the stadium or settling in for a marathon viewing party. This level of transparency is something many competitors skip, making it a practical choice for voice assistant sleep headphones for tv watching where you might fall asleep with them in.
Connectivity and control are straightforward and reliable. Powered by Bluetooth 5.0 technology, they offer a stable connection range of up to 30 feet, ensuring you can walk around the house without losing signal. The physical control buttons on the earbuds allow you to answer calls, play, pause, and manage playlists directly without fumbling with a phone. For fans, the officially licensed nature of the product adds a layer of emotional value; wearing your team colors while listening to commentary or music enhances the sense of belonging. The design is classic, featuring team colors and a bud shape that fits securely in the ear, though it lacks the specialized hook mechanism found in the JVC.
That said, the SOAR is best suited for stationary listening or light movement. It does not offer the same level of specialized sound tuning as the JVC, sticking to a standard premium stereo sound profile. If you are looking for deep, customizable bass boosts or specific vocal clarity modes, this model provides a solid baseline but not the granular control of its rival. Additionally, while the 10-hour single charge is generous, the lack of an open-fit design means you are fully isolated from your surroundings. If you prefer to feel the energy of the room or need to stay alert to your environment while watching TV, the closed nature of these buds might feel a bit too restrictive. But for the fan who wants to wear their team pride and never worry about charging, the SOAR is a powerhouse.
• Best for battery life → SOAR NFL True with a total of 61 hours versus the JVC's 30 hours.
• Best for environmental awareness → JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB due to its open-type piece design.
• Best for sound customization → JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB offering normal, bass, and clear modes.
• Best for visual battery monitoring → SOAR NFL True featuring an LED display on the charging case.
• Best for secure active fit → JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB with its soft hook design.
• Best for team spirit → SOAR NFL True with officially licensed team logos and colors.
• Best for hands-free convenience → Both, but SOAR uses physical buttons while JVC uses touch sensors.
• Best for long-term TV comfort → JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB if you need to hear surroundings; SOAR NFL True if you want maximum isolation and battery.
In my opinion, I would buy the JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB for general TV watching because the ability to switch between sound modes and hear the room around me creates a more balanced experience. The open-fit design prevents the fatigue that comes from sealing your ears off for hours, and the secure hook keeps them in place even if I shift positions on the couch. While the SOAR has incredible battery life, the lack of sound customization and the fully enclosed fit make it feel more like a gadget for the stadium than a comfortable companion for the living room. For the best clip on earbuds for tv watching that balances audio quality with real-world usability, the JVC is the smarter choice.
Yes, both models support Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones and tablets which can be used as remotes for TVs, but the JVC's open design allows you to hear dialogue clearly even at lower volumes while staying aware of your environment.
The SOAR NFL True offers up to 10 hours per charge, whereas the JVC Fitness Series HAEC25TB provides a total of 30 hours when combined with its case, though the specific duration per single charge varies based on usage patterns.
Neither product features active noise cancellation; however, the JVC's open-style design is intended to let ambient sound in, while the SOAR's standard bud shape provides passive isolation from outside noise.
Both are compatible with voice assistants and have comfortable designs, but the SOAR's extended 61-hour total battery life makes it particularly suitable for voice assistant sleep headphones for tv watching scenarios where you might leave them on overnight.
