WHY I CHOOSE JUSTICE CECILIA MUNOZ PALMA HIGH SCHOOL?

Justice Cecilia MuΓ±oz Palma Highschool is located at Payatas Quezon City. Aside from the fact that I live nearby, I've heard this school is among Quezon City's best performers. As far as I could tell, the school offers a wide range of courses that really help students develop their skills. Additionally, the teachers are very hospitable and always have a smile on their face. I then came to the realization that this school might give me a lot of the experiences I'd need to become a successful teacher in the future. Being a student teacher in this institution is a privilege.

FIRST DAY OF DEPLOYMENT

First thing I need to do on my first day is see how my cooperating teacher, Ma'am Lumpas, instructs her students. Being that my CT is a Master Teacher, I have to admit that I'm a little uneasy. When it came to class involvement, she allowed me to watch both her teaching methods and the actions of her students. She will ask me what I observed after the lesson is over and she will demonstrate the style of instruction she uses. She will also give me some advice on the teaching methods I should use. After a few weeks, Ma'am Lumpas was promoted, and Ma'am Cardona took her place as my cooperating teacher till I finished my practice teaching. My new cooperating teacher now helps me and instructs me on how to be a successful teacher.

ENCOUNTER WITH THE STUDENTS

Online classes are how I initially meet my students. In all honesty, I don't really enjoy teaching online classes. It's a little monotonous, but my cooperating teacher taught me how to keep my students engaged in online discussions by calling their attention and making sure they are actually paying attention rather than dozing off. It's incredibly difficult to learn online. When I had my first teaching job, Ma'am Cardona encouraged me since I was anxious. Since it is my first time teaching, I am extremely aware of my style and wonder if the "students would have learnings on my discussion." However, after class, my CT congratulated me even though I wasn't so excellent and she gave me further tips on how to improve my teaching skills.

TAKE AWAYS EXPERIENCE

Being a teacher is not an easy job. I can't believe I have arrived at this point despite everything I have been through. I constantly doubt my abilities, thinking that I can't perform this or that. but I was able to manage despite that. Is this how a teacher should be? Everything we have done so far is just what a teacher does in the classroom. Funny how I was able to teach the information a learner needs to know. It's hilarious because they treated me like family in addition to being my student teacher, which is the best teaching experience.

SCHOOL VISITATION

The school of Justice Cecilia Munoz Palma is at Molave St., Brgy. Payatas Quezon City. It was on the way to Montalban on the side of the road. The school was large and had all the necessary amenities that were well-organized and tidy, particularly for student activities, and that possessed a building for junior high to senior high school. It was amazing from the outside because it was so large. A connecting bridge runs along the next building.

The right photo was taken near the Office of the Principal. We had a chance to meet the Principal of Justice Cecilia Munoz Palma High School, Dr. Almario N. Aurelio. and get a picture with him.

The left photo is taken with Sir Jun, TLE Head of JCMPHS during our school visitation.
