拠点本部長挨拶　Director's Message

　2022年度より、北海道大学触媒科学研究所、大阪公立大学人工光合成研究センター、産業技術総合研究所触媒化学融合研究センターとともに連携ネットワーク型共同利用・共同研究拠点「触媒科学計測共同研究拠点」として文部科学省から認定を受け、拠点活動を牽引して参ります。申請者の独自の発想に基づく研究課題への公募に基づいて拠点メンバーと国内外の触媒研究者との共同研究を実施し、触媒関連分野における研究の発展、国際化、異分野融合を推進します。国内の優れた研究成果を海外に周知するための情報発信型シンポジウムなどの国際シンポジウムを開催し、国内外の研究者への技術指導や社会への貢献を目的とする実践研修を実施します。新拠点では研究集会支援を開始し、頭脳循環を促進します。また、東北大学国際放射光イノベーション・スマート研究センターとの学術協力により触媒関連分野における次世代放射光の活用を促進します。

From the fiscal year 2022, we have been authorized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan as a networked "Joint Usage/Research Center for Catalysis (JURCC)" together with the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis (ReCAP) at Osaka Metropolitan University and the Research Center for Catalysis Chemistry (IRC3) at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).

We will conduct joint research with domestic and foreign researchers in the field of catalysis, based on the applicant's original idea of research topics, and promote the development, internationalization, and fusion of different fields of research in the field of catalysis. International symposiums will be held to disseminate excellent domestic research results to overseas, and practical training will be provided to domestic and foreign researchers for the purpose of technical guidance and contribution to society. JURCC will initiate support for colloquiums and promote brain circulation. We will also promote the utilization of next-generation synchrotron radiation in catalyst-related fields through academic collaboration with the International Center for Synchrotron Radiation Innovation Smart, Tohoku University.
