Hi!
I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Statistics at Chung-Ang University.
I hope everyone who visits this website has a wonderful day.
Overview of Research Areas
My research focuses on developing algorithmic approaches to resolving the ethical challenges of machine learning and deep learning, including:
Security & Privacy: Training and usage of models can leak sensitive information from both data and models
Fairness: The bias inherent in data can lead trained models to produce unfair results for certain demographic groups, especially the vulnerable.
I am currently developing practical solutions to protect private information in the financial sector, including portfolio optimization and bankruptcy prediction.
My research is essential for industries that handle sensitive personal information, such as finance and healthcare, but it can be applied to any industry that needs to protect confidential information.
If you are interested in my research field, please do not hesitate to contact me.
