Welcome to Perovskite Optoelectronic Laboratory (POL)

Our vision is to redefine the discovery of functional materials by integrating synthetic inorganic chemistry with artificial intelligence. We develop structurally engineered lead halide perovskites, uncover the fundamental mechanisms governing their optical and electronic properties, and exploit these insights to create next-generation photovoltaic and light-emitting technologies. By combining chemistry, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, and data-driven materials design, we pursue transformative research that bridges fundamental science and real-world energy applications.
