Mini-course on "Introduction to Bridgeland Stability Conditions and Wall-Crossing"

Time: August 9, 10, 11 (2022). 1:30 - 2:15 & 2:30 - 3:15. 6 Lectures, 45 minutes each.

Location: LOM 215, Department of Mathematics, Yale.

Abstract: We will give a quick introduction to Bridgeland stability conditions, with a focus on applications in algebraic geometry. We will study the construction of stability conditions on K3 surfaces, and the relation between wall-crossing phenomena and birational models of moduli of sheaves. As an application, we deduce the existence of Brill-Noether general curves on K3 surfaces.
