Our purpose is to provide athletes with sound fundamentals in and out of the water that will contribute to developing individuals who will excel in the sport of swimming as well as become community driven leaders in life. We encourage team spirit and sportsmanship as part of a supportive, safe environment. Athletes will learn life skills such as self-esteem, confidence, and leadership that will be vital in building lifelong success. We want to empower kids to achieve their best through swim!

In addition to the YMCA core values of caring, respect, honesty, responsibility, and inclusiveness, the JVY swim team is committed to providing a positive, safe, and challenging swim experience for youth of all ages and abilities.

Active is our online swim team management software solution! This allows for registration, releases, swim meet sign-ups and tracking of results! All swimmers are required to sign up for swim team using the Active portal.
