In Ireland, we welcome June with a Bank Holiday Weekend. It is also state exam time for many young people sitting their Junior Cert and Leaving Cert. The rest of us often enjoy good weather during this period, referred to as "Exam Weather"...fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks!

Our Chess & Draughts Club continues in Carlow Volunteer Centre on Thursdays from 10:30 to 12:30pm. This club is suitable for beginners and improvers, and is open to all who want to play chess or draughts in a social setting. There will be a full day of live music from local artists with the Streetfest Sessions on Saturday, June 7th on Lower Tullow Street. Go along and support.
Wonder Walls for Cruinniu na nÓg invites young people aged 12 to 18 years to unleash their creativity through vibrant, collaborative murals. Drop in sessions at Visual from 12pm to 4pm on June 7th.
The Children of Wolves is a free performance with the young people if Carlow Regional Youth Services on Saturday, June 7th. Two shows are taking place, one in Carlow and one in Bagenalstown. Follow the LINK to book.
Carlow Youth Theatre Project presents Carlow Through Our Eyes, a creative film project that gives young people a platform to express how they see and fell about County Carlow. The presentation takes place on June 7th at 7pm in An Gairdin Beo. No booking required.
