Welcome to my website!

I am Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Cantabria. I received my PhD (2012) and MSc (2008) from the University of País Vasco, University of Cantabria and University of Oviedo. I was visiting researcher at Politecnico di Milano (2013) and Trinity College Dublin (2011).

My research interests focus on income distribution and public policy evaluation in the European Union and Latin America. I have published in leading academic journals, including Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of Latin American Studies, Economics of Governance and Utilities Policy, among others.
