Nikkita

Nikkita is an adorable tuxedo girl, about 7 years old, with a personality that is mellow, affectionate, and very friendly. She was an established resident cat in Julia’s home before RosaMa arrived, and her grounded nature made her a steady, reassuring presence in the household.

Nikkita is a social, welcoming presence, and deeply comfortable in herself. She could be considered the "Mayor" of the house, coming out to greet visitors and calmly overseeing daily activities. She shows affection through gentle head bumps and by choosing to sit near you — on the bed, beside you, or keeping watch from a favorite spot. She’s not demanding, but she’s always close by, offering laid-back companionship.

Despite her calm demeanor, the moment a wand toy appears, Nikkita will run, stalk, and pounce with enthusiasm, playing with the energy of a kitten. She will happily chase her “mouse” like the Energizer bunny long after her younger fellow cats are taking a rest.

Nikkita can also be quietly goofy. For example, she has a funny way she likes to sit on the bed (see photo) which perfectly captures her charming, offbeat personality.

Nikkita does well with other cats and we believe will be adaptable to a variety of home environments.

You may notice Nikkita has a slightly unusual lip, which her veterinarian has evaluated and confirmed is not currently a concern. It’s simply something to monitor, and it adds to her unique character.
