UNC’s Sigma Tau Delta Will Host Book Sale
Greeley, Colo.—A group of Sigma Tau Delta students will host their annual book sale at the University of Northern Colorado. Sigma Tau Delta is the English Honor Society at UNC dedicated to selecting students with high GPAs and shared love for literature. The students are committed to promoting their club through selling books.
The Spring 2019 book sale is on Thursday, April 18. The event will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The book sale will be in the McKee Hall Breezeway. To encouraging students to buy books, the honor society will accept cash, card, or Venmo. Every student and professor on West Campus are encouraged to stop by and explore the different book titles. There will be students of Sigma Tau Delta helping students choose their book of choice.
The sale benefits the honor society as well as encouraging people to buy books. Books will be exactly one dollar, no matter the size. The price further encourages people to want to buy books because it is cheap. This sale benefits the honor society and benefits students with summer reading.
Sigma Tau Delta is dedicated to promoting the love of literature among their members as well as other students. “Our job is to advance the goal of studying literature," Laci Durham states. “We can do this through our book sale.” Durham is the student president of UNC’s Sigma Tau Delta. She advocated for the semester book sale. Durham is also in charge of the activity.
