Juhi Deolankar is a Resident Physician solidifying her area of expertise. She is also currently participating in research within various hospitals, including the VA.

Juhi Deolankar first found her academic footing after graduating from the Academy of Allied Health and Science in 2013. From there, she continued onto Albert Dorman Honors College for the Bachelor of Arts in Biology portion of an accelerated BA/MD program. Deolankar also completed a minor in entrepreneurship at that time, before transferring to Rutgers Medical School to claim her Doctor of Medicine (MD).


Presently, Dr. Deolankar is continuing her studies through hands-on learning in her current Residency. She anticipates a career-long commitment to continued learning as she works diligently to keep pace with the field in the years that lie ahead.

Current Research

Juhi Deolankar is currently participating in research with mentor, Michael Stifelman, MD. Their collaborative efforts are specifically centered around the development of a prospective database for renal and GU reconstruction. This research is being conducted via Hackensack University Medical Center. Diving deep into her research, Deolankar thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to uncover new findings within her field of study.


The Resident Physician is also currently engaged in research with mentor Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad, MD in the Veterans Affairs Hospital. This particular study centers around Trazodone Pre-Treatment Screening and Side Effects Counseling.


In 2015 and 2016, Juhi Deolankar completed research with mentor Dr. Wu at Rutgers Medical School's Cancer Center. This involved conducting PCR, DNA extraction and IVIS experiments and assisting in the analysis of all associated data.
