My name is Samarth Mannikeri, and I am a senior at Pennsbury High School who is the founder and president of Jubilation for Youth, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting children with rare genetic, epilepsy-related diseases, particularly those with STXBP1, SCN1A, and SCN2A genes who experience Dravet syndrome (encephalopathy).
This is in support of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Epilepsy Neurogenetics Initiative (ENGIN), a groundbreaking initiative that integrates clinical care and research. My career and journey this past summer at CHOP has been truly fulfilling.
