(“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and governs the collection, use, processing, storage, disclosure, and protection of personal information of users (“User”, “you”, “Rider”, or “Driver Partner”) who access or use the J-Tour mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you expressly consent to the practices described in this Policy. The Company collects various categories of personal and non-personal information to provide and improve its services. Personal information may include, but is not limited to, your full name, mobile number, email address, profile photograph, government-issued identification details (in the case of Driver Partners), vehicle registration details, driving license information, payment details, and any other information voluntarily provided by you. In addition, the Company collects location data, including real-time GPS location, trip history, pickup and drop-off points, and route information for the purpose of facilitating rides and ensuring safety. The Company may also collect device-related information such as IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and usage patterns through cookies and similar tracking technologies. The information collected is used for multiple purposes, including but not limited to facilitating ride bookings, enabling communication between Riders and Driver Partners, processing payments, improving service quality, personalizing user experience, detecting and preventing fraud, ensuring platform safety, complying with legal obligations, and conducting internal analytics and research. The Company may also use contact information to send transactional notifications, updates, promotional messages, and marketing communications, subject to applicable laws and user preferences. The Company may share personal information with third parties strictly on a need-to-know basis. Such parties may include Driver Partners, payment gateway providers, cloud service providers, analytics partners, customer support service providers, and law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law. The Company ensures that such third parties are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations. The Company does not sell personal data to third parties for monetary consideration. Location data is a critical component of the Platform and is collected both when the application is actively in use and, where permitted, in the background to enhance service efficiency, safety, and fraud detection. Users may control location permissions through device settings; however, disabling such permissions may limit or prevent the use of certain features of the Platform. The Company implements reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. The Company reserves the right to verify the identity of the User before processing such requests.
