JSLs Program Supports The Strike: NO TO JEEPNEY PHASE OUT!
A donation drive to aid the drivers and operators na maaapektuhan ng transport strike.
The second wave of our donation drive to support jeepney drivers and operators during the strike, through meal preparation, did not go as originally planned. With the impression na dahil tuloy tuloy ang strike, tuloy tuloy rin ang welga. Kahit hindi nagrespond sa text yung coordinator, nag-push through kami sa paggawa ng sandwiches. When I decided to contact another person, doon ako na-add pa lang sa gc and was informed na walang rally that day. I asked them to check the nearby areas para hindi masayang yung sandwiches. They did, and unfortunately, wala rin po sa nearby areas.
We sincerely apologize and we acknowledge shortcoming sa project na ito. We're really really sorry.
Yung sandwiches po ay pinamigay na lang sa street people and homeless dito sa Sta. Mesa. Since natapos po ako ng II AM sa paggawa ng sandwiches, kumuha na lang po kami ng volunteers para i-distribute dahil kinailangan ko na gumayak pauwing probinsya.

Hindi naubos in one go yung sandwiches kaya nagkaroon sila ng second batch. But no pictures na from the second batch dahil mag-isa na lang daw si Kerry. But rest assured na nakarating and may napuntahang tulong pa rin ang donations.
