The DML Lab is currently focusing on the following core research problems:
Synthetic Data Generation: Developing advanced generative frameworks to synthesize high-fidelity tabular and time-series data for Electronic Health Records (EHR) and industrial processes.
Foundation Models: Enhancing the numerical intelligence of Large Language Models (LLMs) and developing foundation models optimized for tabular and time-series data.
Continuous-Time Models: Solving complex, irregular time-series tasks in real-world scenarios (e.g., forecasting and precursor anomaly detection).
Recommendation Systems: Designing and building efficient generative recommendation systems.
Electronic Design Automation (EDA): Designing generative models for macro placement optimization in semiconductor design.
