Jessica Sholomenko earned her M.H.Sc. from the University of Toronto and is a licensed speech-language pathologist. She is currently the clinical research coordinator and treating clinician for an NIH-funded clinical trial exploring the role of neurostimulation, specifically tDCS, in optimizing stroke recovery in acquired speech impairment at New York University Steinhardt for the PLAN (Psycholinguistics, Aphasia, and Neuromodulation) lab. She is a volunteer supervising SLP with IAM aphasia groups. Her interests include promoting individualized and person-centered care across the care continuum following stroke or other neurological impairment and advancing clinical education to support this.
