About us

Who are we?

We are a network of multi-faith organisations working with refugees* in the UK.

*Note: Refugee here is understood to include anyone with experience of the asylum system.

Our mission

To mobilise, strengthen and take joint action to bring about positive change in refugee-related policy and service delivery through shared values.

Our vision

For all refugees living in the UK to receive access to accommodation, support and services that leads to integration and personal development*.

*Challenges that have all been compounded by Covid-19.

Our aims

1. To build & support an engaged network of organisations working with refugees.

2. To provide forums and online platforms for knowledge sharing and best-practice.

3. To champion innovative and targeted delivery models.

4. To share evidence and collaborate in coordinated advocacy initiatives and partnerships.

Ultimately, we seek to build a powerful network for collaboration, training and knowledge exchange

Our process

An online forum

Our first online forum will bring together keynote speakers, including those with lived experience, and professionals, working in key service areas, to collectively solve common challenges facing refugees.

Group workshops:

Uniquely, we will provide a space for professionals from four key areas to discuss the challenges and solutions refugees are facing.

Key areas:

  1. Policy and advocacy

  2. Physical and mental health

  3. Education & livelihoods

  4. Service delivery & community inclusion

After brainstorming and analysis, each group will present their key findings and, together with keynote speakers, identify the highest priorities and joint actions.

Outcomes:

  • Each participating organisation commits to coordinated actions and nominates a person responsible for its implementation.

  • An online platform will be set up to sustain conversations and critically, to monitor actions and linkages agreed at the forum.
