Class overview:
In this class riders compete simultaneously, traveling the perimeter of the arena at the discretion of the judge. Riders are asked to walk, jog, lope, extend the jog, extend the lope, and reverse directions.
Head: Riders will wear a western hat that is in good condition.
Hair: Riders must have their hair pulled back, often in a ponytail or bun.
Shirt: Riders will wear a Western show shirt, usually to match
their pad/outfit to create an aesthetic image while being judged.
Pants: Riders will wear jeans with chaps
Boots: Riders will wear western boots that are in good condition.
Gloves: Gloves are not worn while showing western pleasure

Bridle: Riders may use any western bridle or bosal
Saddle: Riders may use any western saddle in good condition.
Saddle pad: Riders may use a western show pad, usually matching their outfit to make an aesthetic image while being judged
No leg protection is used in western pleasure
Horses mane should be well maintained (short/pulled or in button braids)
