Our mission

Swing dancing (lindy hop, balboa, and authentic jazz) in the Jamaica Plain area, honoring the roots of the art form in pre-WWII Harlem, and influenced by nature, especially the sunset over Jamaica Pond as seen from the boathouse pavilion (pictured above).

• Social dancing events with an inclusive atmosphere and great music, live in the best case -- yay musicians who keep the jazz alive!

• Swing dancing lessons to support and grow the local and worldwide swing dancing community.
