JoyMove raises impact and effectiveness implementing use of inclusive and highly participatory methodologies. This is achieved by investigating the organisations current provision, then providing demonstrations, bespoke training, resources and mentoring and ongoing support. JoyMove helps to manage and implement the overall change in approach which is detailed below.
First JoyMove will investigate what your organisation wants to achieve with SFD. JoyMove will then spend time observing your educators work with children to find out what effective provision is already occuring and build up an understanding of current practice.
A report analysing the current provision will be presented and a plan created in conjunction with your organisation to improve impact, engagement and effectiveness.
JoyMove will spend time a significant period of time with each of your educators demonstrating facilitation methodology.
The training focuses on prioritising inclusion, enjoyment and high participation in SFD programmes. The training will be tailored to your organisations purposes. It explain what approaches to take and why - explaining the educational principles behind the practice. Educators will be shown how to make sessions using the educational principles as well as be provided with resources tailored to the organisations needs with a particular focus on how to increase effectiveness, inclusion and impact of sessions.
In order to ensure lasting change, the managers of staff will need to understand the value of implementing the change as well as how to support and ensure staff have what they need in order to implement changes. JoyMove provides a documented structure and guidance for managers to ensure staff implement good working practice.
After providing training, JoyMove will partner teach, mentor and provide support to each of your educators.
JoyMove will video sessions led by your educators and support your organisation to publicise successful sessions and events online.
JoyMove will provide documented resources including a staff handbook and provide ongoing support after the training and change cycle is complete to ensure lasting improvement.
