To provide AI-powered editing functions (including AI portraits, video generation, face beautification, etc.), JoyClip requires the upload of your media to our cloud servers for processing.
Collection & Use: We do not collect facial feature data from the images or videos you voluntarily upload. The uploaded content is used solely to generate the specific AI effects or content you request. User images are uploaded to our server solely for the generation process and are immediately deleted once the video is generated. We do not store or share any user-generated media.
Storage & Processing: Due to the high computational requirements of AI generation, your encrypted media files are processed on secure cloud servers (e.g., Amazon Web Services).
Privacy Protection: We do not share your data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We do not use your data to identify you individually or for authentication purposes.
No Third-Party AI: We do not use third-party AI APIs. All AI image-to-video features are powered by our proprietary models hosted on our private servers.
To create and manage your JoyClip account, we may collect information such as your email address, third-party platform account details (e.g., social media login info), username, password, name, gender, date of birth, or phone number (if you choose to provide these).
When you contact us for customer support, technical assistance, or feedback, we may collect information contained in your communication, including your name, contact details, and any other personal information you voluntarily provide.
We automatically collect information about your interaction with the Service and your device, including:

To provide enhanced services, we may request access to certain device permissions. You can manage or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission will terminate the corresponding feature.
Camera: To enable shooting functions for photo/video editing.
Microphone: To support audio recording in video features.
Photos: To access and edit images in your device’s photo library.
Notifications: To send you service updates and alerts.
Tracking (IDFA): To collect the device’s advertising identifier for personalized advertising (optional, subject to your consent via App Tracking Transparency).

JoyClip does not sell your personal information. We may share your information with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

Cloud Storage & Processing: Uploaded media is processed on servers hosted by providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Note: Your photos are used strictly to generate content for you or to create a temporary, personalized model for your specific session. We do not use your personal photos to train our general foundation models for other users.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring party.
The Service may contain links to external websites or integrate third-party SDKs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
Your personal information may be stored and processed on servers located in countries other than your country of residence (e.g., AWS servers in the US or other regions). We ensure that all international transfers comply with applicable legal requirements and that your information is protected according to this Policy.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or fulfill legitimate business purposes.
Account Data: Retained while your account is active or up to 6 months after termination (unless longer retention is required by law).
Raw Data / Uploaded Photos: Minimization Policy. Original photos uploaded for AI processing are automatically deleted from our cloud processing servers immediately after the generation is complete. We do not retain your uploaded images.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential.
The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by posting the updated Policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the changes.
