Welcome!
Welcome!
I am an assistant professor at the School of Economics, Peking University. I received my Ph.D. in Economics and B.S. in math and physics from Tsinghua University in 2017 and 2012, respectively.
My research lies at the intersection of applied microeconomics and public policy. I study how public policy shapes allocative efficiency through the dynamic responses of firms and other private actors. My broader interest is the interaction between government and markets. The applications of my research include environmental regulation, public assistance, capital allocation, and international trade. Methodologically, my work combines quasi-experimental causal inference with economic theory and, where the research question demands it, quantitative general-equilibrium analysis.
