1. What We Collect

When you use PolicyScope, we collect:

- **Account information** — your name, email address, and profile picture via Google Sign-In

- **Usage data** — how many analyses you've run and your remaining credit balance

- **Payment information** — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details

2. What We Do NOT Collect

- We do not store the policy text you analyze

- We do not track your browsing history

- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

- Authenticate your account

- Track your usage credits (free and purchased)

- Process payments through Stripe

4. Third-Party Services

PolicyScope uses the following third-party services:

- **Google OAuth** — for sign-in only. Governed by [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy)

- **Stripe** — for payment processing. Governed by [Stripe's Privacy Policy](https://stripe.com/privacy)

- **Groq** — to analyze policy text using AI. Your submitted text is sent to Groq's API and is subject to [Groq's Privacy Policy](https://groq.com/privacy-policy/)

5. Data Storage

Your account data is stored in a secured database (MongoDB Atlas). Session tokens expire after 30 days.
