Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Catch the Cup (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile game on iOS and Android.
By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2.1 Account and identity data
When you use the app, we may create or use a Firebase account through:
Apple Game Center (iOS)
Google Play Games (Android)
Anonymous sign-in (if you have not linked a games platform account)
This may include:
A unique user ID (Firebase UID)
Your games platform player identifier (when linked)
Sign-in provider information (e.g. Game Center, Play Games, anonymous)
We do not require your email address or password to play.
2.2 Gameplay and usage data
We collect information about how you use the app, including:
App opens and screen views
Game events such as game start and game over
Gameplay statistics sent to analytics (e.g. score, ball score, total score, whether a rewarded continue was used)
Audio preference toggles (music/SFX on or off) while the app is running
2.3 Device and diagnostic data
To keep the app stable and secure, we collect:
Crash reports and error logs (via Firebase Crashlytics)
Device model, operating system version, app version
Technical logs related to app performance and failures
2.4 Advertising data
The app displays rewarded video ads through Google AdMob when you choose to watch an ad (for example, to continue a run after game over).
AdMob and its partners may collect:
Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android, where permitted)
Device and network information
Ad interaction data
This is used to deliver, measure, and improve ads. On iOS, if applicable, we may request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before certain tracking occurs.
2.5 Data we do not collect
We do not currently collect:
Your real name or email (unless you provide it to us separately)
Precise GPS location
Photos, contacts, or microphone recordings
Payment card details (in-app purchases are not yet offered in the app)
We use collected information to:
Provide and operate the game
Authenticate and link your account across sessions
Save progress and support future features (such as leaderboards and profiles)
Analyze gameplay and improve the app
Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and bugs
Show rewarded ads you choose to watch
Comply with legal obligations
We use trusted third-party services that process data on our behalf:

We do not sell your personal information.
If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we process data based on:
Contract — to provide the game and account features
Legitimate interests — analytics, security, and app improvement
Consent — where required for ads/tracking (e.g. ATT on iOS)
If you are in Türkiye, your personal data is processed under Law No. 6698 (KVKK) for the purposes above. You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of KVKK (see Section 9).

Catch the Cup is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We retain data only as long as necessary:
Account data: while your account exists or as needed for the service
Analytics: per Firebase/Google retention settings
Crash logs: typically up to 90 days (Firebase default)
Ad data: per Google AdMob policies
You may request deletion of your account-related data (see Section 9).
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data
Object to or restrict processing
Withdraw consent (where processing is consent-based)
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

For Game Center / Play Games account management, you may also use your Apple or Google account settings.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
What we delete
Your Firebase account (anonymous, Game Center, or Play Games–linked)
Gameplay and analytics data linked to your user ID, where technically possible
Crash reports associated with your account or device identifiers, where identifiable
What may remain temporarily
Aggregated or anonymized analytics that cannot identify you
Data we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes
Backup copies deleted within our providers’ standard retention windows (typically up to 90 days)
How to request deletion
Send an email to joxgames.dev@gmail.com with the subject: “Catch the Cup – Account Deletion Request”
Include:
The platform you play on (iOS or Android)
Your Firebase User ID if you know it (optional but speeds up the process)
A brief note that you want your account and data deleted
We will confirm your request by email and complete deletion within 30 days (usually sooner).
If you signed in with Game Center or Play Games, you may also manage or disconnect your platform account in your Apple ID / Google account settings. Deleting the platform link does not automatically delete all data we hold; please email us if you want full deletion.
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own (including the United States), where Google, Apple, and their servers operate. Appropriate safeguards are applied by these providers under their terms and applicable law.
We use industry-standard measures through Firebase and platform providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
