With a primary focus on university-level productions, she loves working with emerging artists to develop their artistic voice, build their confidence, and provide a safe place to take risks. Her collaborative opera projects foster interdisciplinary dialogue and bring new audiences into the theater space. Jourdan Laine believes that the arts play a significant part in community place-making. She leverages her background in arts administration & community engagement to choose projects that entertain audiences and contribute to their sense of belonging.
