Experience
MS Student | Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) | August 2022 - Current
MS in Electrical Engineering at the Neuro-Instrumentation & Computational Analysis Lab (NICA) at KAIST
I'm researching and developing computational techniques leveraging machine learning and computer vision to understand neurological activity and behavior.
Specifically, I am working on the development of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Convolutional Neural Network-based models to analyze calcium imaging data from zebrafish neurons, acquired through confocal fluorescence microscopy.
Researcher | National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) | June 2020 - July 2021
NIST Professional Research Experience Program (PREP) Researcher
I developed a control package and user interface for the AC Josephson Voltage Standard system, designed to generate stable voltages utilizing superconducting materials. Additionally, I implemented various signal processing algorithms and software components for electronic test equipment systems.
Undergraduate Researcher | University of Virginia | Janurary 2020 - May 2020
Research on FPGA hardware acceleration for Machine Learning
Undergraduate Researcher | University of Virginia | November 2018 - February 2019
Research on computer vision for measuring surface pressure
