A Vast Sea of Ice
By Josh Bauer
It was highly unexpected
That a vast sea of ice
Could create a rare coincidence
That’d never happen twice
It was vengeance that he sought
But his life would be the price
For him to slay his cruel creation
But to him, it would suffice
Was the creature just a vice
Or his creator a device
Of the creature he created
Was he far from all advice?
But that’s when he met Walton
After days of treading ice
Though his countenance had fallen,
His perception was precise
Walton brought him back to life
Without ever thinking twice
With a promise of completion
Of what Victor left behind
