Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Economics of Carbon Removal in the CO2RE research hub in the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford. I hold additional affiliations with Oxford Net Zero and the Institute of New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School. I previously worked with the Economics of Scaling Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage research group, funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
My research lies at the intersection of microeconomic theory and environmental economics. Much of my current work analyzes the effectiveness of environmental policies, with a particular focus on carbon pricing mechanisms and regulatory instruments for carbon dioxide removal. I am also interested in forestry economics, the formation and sustenance of climate accords, and discounting theory.
I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin in August 2023. It is my honor to have been advised by Professor Maxwell Stinchcombe.
I am seeking job opportunities in the field of environmental economics for the 2025-2026 job market cycle, with availability following the conclusion of my postdoctoral role in October 2026.
