I am Joseph Gondek (he/him), a postgraduate student studying mathematics at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Professor Mehrdad Kalantar.
I completed my master's degree at Carleton University in July 2024, under the supervision of Charles Starling. My master's thesis studied topological amenability for inverse semigroup actions.
I am interested in the analytic, dynamical, and representation-theoretic aspects of discrete groups. I use operator algebras to understand and relate these perspectives.
