Academic Pathway
I started my academic life at the University of Minho, in the course of Optometry and Vision Sciences. During the second year, I had the opportunity to join a research initiation group, called Starter, from the Color Science Laboratory, CSL. After and during the Master's degree until today I have reconciled studies, research and clinical practice of optometry full time. In 2020, I was selected for a research grant by the Physics Center of the University of Minho and FCT (Fundação para a Ciencia e Tecnologia). Nowadays, I am a PhD student in the doctoral program in Optometry and Vision Science.
