I am a professor at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ. My research agenda aligns with environmental and agricultural economics. My research interests aim to identify the effects of policies or norms at different levels (e.g., community, national or regional) on (farm) households’ behaviors, and production systems, incorporating natural resource management . I am also interested in nonmarket valuation of natural resources. Combining microeconomics models and applied econometrics, I aim to provide practical and impactful strategies that drive the adoption of eco-efficient and sustainable solutions in real-world contexts.
Specific research interests:
Non-market valuation methods
Applied Econometrics
