Jordan Sudberg, MD - Nearly a Decade of Pain Management

A pain management doctor with a background in medical research, Dr. Jordan Sudberg graduated from Yeshiva College with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and later obtained his MD from St. George's University. He completed an internal medicine internship and physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Staten Island University Hospital and North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital, respectively. Dr. Sudberg has also completed several continuing medical education courses, including the eight-day courses offered at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Annual Physical Medical and Rehabilitation Lectures Conference.  

 

Dr. Jordan Sudberg began helping patients achieve peak physical fitness and recover from injuries at United Wellness Medical PC. He worked here for two years before starting his own practice in Herald Square and, as of 2018, has served as CEO and medical director of Spine & Sports Rehabilitation. In addition to physical therapy, he utilizes advanced techniques, including ultrasound guided peripheral joint injections and Synvisc, to treat patients.  

 

Dr. Sudberg's services also include pain reduction exercise, vascular surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation consultations, and movement disorder exercises. He takes a patient-focused approach in treating a variety of injuries, including workplace injuries and pain stemming from motor vehicle accidents, and has a consistent track record of helping patients alleviate pain and improve mobility.  

 

As a medical research scientist, Dr. Sudberg worked in the Exercise Physiology Lab in the Department of Cardiology at the University of Columbia. He also has medical research experience at Harvard University. He belongs to several professional medical organizations, including the World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR). He is a former medical student mentor with the AAPMR.  

 

Complementing his work in pain management, Dr. Jordan Sudberg is a certified physical fitness trainer and kinesiologist. He's bilingual in English and Spanish.
