Fin Weekly is developed and published by Jono Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how Fin Weekly handles information when you use the app.
Fin Weekly is designed to work locally on your Android device. Jono Apps does not collect, transmit, sell, rent or share your personal or financial information through the app.
Fin Weekly does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, cloud synchronisation or third-party tracking.
You may choose to enter budgeting information such as:
Weekly pay and essential-spending amounts
Bills, payment amounts and due dates
Bills-pot balances and payday dates
Payday history
App preferences, theme choices and reminder settings
This information is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. It is used only to provide Fin Weekly's budgeting, history, settings and reminder features. Jono Apps cannot view or access this information.
If you enable payday reminders, Fin Weekly uses the date and time settings you select to schedule notifications locally on your device. On supported Android versions, the app asks for notification permission.
Reminder information is not sent to Jono Apps or to an external server. You can disable reminders in Fin Weekly or manage notification permission through your device settings.
Fin Weekly does not automatically upload your app data to Jono Apps or provide cloud synchronisation. Android automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Fin Weekly's private app data.
Fin Weekly allows you to export or import data manually. An export occurs only when you choose to create one. If you save or share an exported file using Android's system interface, the destination app, service or storage location you select may process that file under its own privacy policy. Jono Apps does not receive a copy of your exported file.
You are responsible for keeping exported files secure and deleting copies you no longer need.
Fin Weekly does not:
Collect or transmit personal or financial information to Jono Apps
Sell or share user data
Use advertising or analytics services
Use third-party tracking technologies
Connect to bank accounts or other financial institutions
Require user registration or an online account
Fin Weekly does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software development kits.
Google Play and the Android operating system may process information independently when you download, install or use apps. That processing is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy and is not data collected by Fin Weekly or Jono Apps through the app.
Information entered into Fin Weekly remains on your device until you edit or delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Fin Weekly or clearing its storage removes the information held in the app's private storage.
Files you have exported outside the app are not removed when you uninstall Fin Weekly. You must delete those copies from the location or service where you saved them.
Because Jono Apps does not receive or store your Fin Weekly data, there is no user data held on Jono Apps servers for us to retrieve or delete.
Fin Weekly stores its working data within Android's private app storage. Access is subject to the protections provided by your device and the Android operating system. You should protect your device with an appropriate screen lock and keep any exported backup files secure.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Fin Weekly is a general budgeting utility and is not directed specifically at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Fin Weekly's features or legal obligations change. The updated policy will show a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected in the public policy and, where appropriate, in the app.
