Welcome to my website!
I teach philosophy at Texas State University, San Marcos and American Public University System, and founded and help run Argumentation.io.
Currently, I'm interested in developing content and technologies for improving students' critical thinking skills. I'm interested in how education can improve critical thinking skills, and in how these skills make people's lives better and improve their societies.
On the technology side, my main focus is Argumentation.io.
On the content side, I've written an argument mapping and critical thinking textbook, With Good Reason. I'm also working on argument mapping videos.
I've written about empiricism (particularly Carnap and Quine), social media, and ethical questions about procreation and moral status.
