I am a geoscientist who utilizes geologic, geochemical, and geophysical methods to reconstruct model the effects of dramatic climate transitions in the ancient past. As of 2022, I am currently working as a Post-Doctoral Associate at the Institute for Rock Magnetism (IRM) at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities (UMN) (Link Here).
My research involves examining paleoclimate records to enhance our understanding of environmental responses during abrupt climatic transitions. In pursuit of this goal, I primarily employ environmental magnetic and paleomagnetic methods, with a specific focus on the examination of consistently preserved sedimentary records from both core samples and outcrop exposures.
