Netflix recently released a new special, the Jonas Brothers Family Roast, featuring Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner, and Danielle Jonas, along with good friends of the family, and, of course, the three brothers. Their dad made an appearance, however, the youngest brother, Frankie Jonas, wasn't in attendance. The Jonas Brothers reunited the band back in June 2019, and with Nick breaking up the band in 2013 being the brunt of the jokes, there were plenty of roasts to go around for Nick, Kevin, and Joe.

When Danielle Jonas first holds up her posters, it's revealed that she had lost her voice right before the event took place. Of course, she didn't want to have Kevin left out of the family roast, so host Kenan Thompson read her roast. At times, like when Danielle Jonas was boasting about her husband's impressive performance when they're alone, she made Kenan laugh out loud, not wanting to be the one to announce that to the world.

The main part of the Jonas Brothers Family Roast that everyone was looking forward to was hearing Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner, and Danielle Jonas roast their husbands, the Jonas Brothers. All three wives took turns roasting their husbands, along with celebrities who partook in the fun of joking with the famous family band.

It can be incredibly scary to get up on stage to roast your husband in front of a live audience, knowing it's going to be on a huge Netflix special. Even Priyanka Chopra, a successful actress, admitted immediately that she was nervous to be on stage. Of course, no one's saying that Danielle didn't really lose her voice, but for someone who isn't used to performing on stage, it might have been a relief for her. Family is her number one priority, so performing a roast of her family on stage for a Netflix special must be a daunting task.

Danielle and Kevin have been married the longest, recently celebrating 10 years of marriage. She starts by saying that they met on vacation, where she ignored him the entire trip, and then joked that it reminded him of his mom, which made him happy. Her most memorable joke was when she talks about how her daughters are like most of the world - not knowing Kevin is even famous. Of course, their two daughters know about the Jonas Brothers, but they're not famous to them. Kevin's family has been the center of his life the past decade, but the girls still appreciate his talent, and so do we!

Priyanka Chopra takes the stage to take her turn in the family roast. With a ten-year age gap between her and nick, she had plenty of jokes to go around about her husband. From roasting his acting skills to joking about being pregnant (she wasn't!). Priyanka's most memorable joke was when she pretended to stumble over her words, when she told Nick that she wouldn't want to babysit anyone else, and then corrected herself to say she wouldn't want to be married to anyone else.

Lastly, Sophie Turner takes the stage to roast her husband, Joe. All three Jonas Brothers wore purity rings growing up; some fans loved this concept, others made fun of it. Joe and Nick were both dating co-stars and other Disney stars throughout their youth, and Sophie took this and ran with it.

She joked about the purity ring as a symbol that he put his finger in, and that he used to put his fingers in his Disney Channel co-stars and other celebrities, too. After joking about her husband's dating and hook-up lifestyle in the past, she reminds everyone that he finally found a place where his finger fits. All jokes aside, she reminds the brothers that she loves them and even throws a little shade at her brother-in-law, Nick.

Throughout the entire hour-long special, all three brothers and all three wives can be seen cracking up. When Danielle Jonas roasts her husband through Kenan Thompson, although blushing, Kevin clearly isn't hurt by her jokes. The Netflix special ends with Kevin, Joe, and Nick taking the stage to roast each other, and they did a pretty good job at letting loose some harmless jokes.

The artist and late show host hilariously looked back on her childhood days as a Jo Bros fan, saying that she would often look at their posters as a teenager and wonder, "Maybe I'm into girls." There's a 10-minute segment where the brothers play (American) football to judge who the worst player is among the three of them. It's needlessly dragged and doesn't generate many laughs, not even from the brothers themselves. A sharp 58-minute episode could've served them better.

Seriously, what was the need? The portion lasted a few minutes, but it's hard to understand the point of it all as Dr. Phil sat with Priyanka, Sophie and Danielle, commenting on their married lives.
