2025 SNU Astro-Physics Joint Workshop

Galaxy evolution and dark matter studies are advancing rapidly with the development of new observational and supercomputing facilities. This workshop aims to present and discuss the latest efforts across a broad range of extragalactic science, fostering collaboration between the astronomy and physics working groups. We anticipate an excellent opportunity to bring together observational and theoretical experts to explore the next steps in collaboratively addressing the missing elements of galaxy evolution.

- Day 2 (Fri): 09:30 - 12:00
Venue: The Week& Resort, Ventus Hall (더위크앤 리조트, 벤투스홀 - 지하 1층)
- Meeting point: On Feb 27 at NOON, please join the organizers near Ventus Hall (Level B1) on time. We will gather and have lunch together.
- The venue is accessible by public transportation. Details can be found in the section below.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner on Day 1, Breakfast on Day 2 will be provided.

Tentatively, steamed clams and seafood along with small side dishes (deep-fried nibbles, cheesy corn, noodles etc.) are planned to be served.

The Eulwangri beach area is famous for its stunning sunsets. We hope for excellent weather and to be able to enjoy the sunset during dinner. On Feb 27 the sunset is expected to be around 18:25! 🌇
