OBJECTIVES
The RPW suite on Solar Orbiter and the FIELDS suite on Parker Solar Probe both study wave properties in the solar wind. This workshop will bring together scientists involved in their scientific exploitation to discuss recent observations and instrumental aspects. The meeting is open to all members of the Solar Orbiter and Parker Solar Probe communities. Special attention will be given to the synergy between the two instrument suites, with a focus on radial/magnetic alignments and on multipoint observations.
PROGRAM
The meeting will start on Monday 26 February at 2pm and end on Thursday 29 February at noon, with a welcome reception on Monday evening and a conference dinner on Wednesday evening.
Contributions are welcome on topics related to solar wind and heliosperic physics, especially those combining Parker Solar Probe and Solar Orbiter observations. We expect to have dedicated sessions on radial/magnetic aligments and multipoint observations of solar radio bursts.

Orléans is a medium-sized city located 150 km south of Paris. The historic city center is nice to walk through and everything is within walking distance. Here are things you might not want to miss. The Chambord Castle is about 50 km from Orléans and can be reached by public transportation. The Nançay radio observatory with its radioheliograph are located 150 km south of Orléans.
Access
By train (from Paris): Orléans has excellent rail links from Paris Austerlitz station and the trip takes about 1h10 (avoid local trains that stop in between). Get off at "Orléans" station (not "Les Aubrais"). From there it is a 10-15 minute walk to Hôtel Dupanloup.
If your train only stops at "Les Aubrais" but not at "Orléans", take the tram from Les Aubrais railway station to Orléans for the last part of your journey and get off at "Gares d'Orléans" or "De Gaulle".
To buy train tickets, use the ticket machines at the station or buy your ticket online on the SNCF website. Tram tickets can be bought at any tram stop and cost 1.80€.By car (from Paris): take highway A10 and exit nr 14 toward "Orléans Centre". All parking spaces in central Orléans are subject to a charge. The weekly rate starts at 38€.
By shuttle, leading from CDG and Orly airports directly to your hotel : it is necessary to book them in advance : http://www.rpg-international.fr/, https://www.airevasion-orleans.fr/, or https://routairorleans.fr/ You can also take a RER (local train) or a coach from the airport to Paris Austerlitz station, and from there continue by train.
