I am a Professor of Resource Economics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Most of my research focuses on the theory and experimental evaluation of environmental and natural resource management. I am primarily interested in two areas: 1) the design of environmental and natural resource policies, and 2) the local governance of common pool natural resources in the developing world. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental and natural resource economics.
